But, I thought, what the 'heck'! Let's go for it.
What would this blog entail? (You might ask yourself) Well, a realistic view of how everyday people, who don't have the money to fork out on the latest fitness equipment, beauty so-called 'miracles'. A determined, machine mentality of eating completely healthy without an ounce of carbs or sugar. Going on even these fad diets that we hear, ranging from The Atkins Diet to detoxing like you're in a sauna.
No, thanks! In the real world, all of these things don't happen to us. Us, who work long hours, don't have the time to create these healthy packed lunches in advance, who can spend hours in the gym or remember to keep note of all the food that goes into our mouth and record it in a food diary. It's just not on!
So, I'm going to start by saying that I've eaten more than I should today. Eaten too much chicken, that soon I will become one myself. I had a Pepsi with my lunch, but c'mon; I'm having a roast chicken with corn on the cob, who is going to have an orange juice with that? (Tip, don't go to Frankie and Benny's. Food is bog standard, definitely not worth getting overly excited for)
For dinner this evening, I had a healthy Chinese dinner. Meaning, white, boiled rice with rice noodles soaked in a broth. Didn't want to pig out all day.
My exercise today was spent walking up and down the high street for a total of 2-3 hours. I don't know how much that accounts towards calories burned, but according to the pedometer ...(checking app now), I've walked 8,821 steps.
Let's see how the next few days will come a long and take it's toll on I...
